Government of the Punjab Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD-SR-I/3-10/2004 dated 15-08-2017 in connection with Financial Assistance Package 2017 Punjab to the Family of Civil Servant who dies while in Service. Summary is as under:

Financial Assistance Package 2017 Punjab

In continuation to this Department’s letter bearing same number dated 13-11-2014 on the subject Revised Assistance Package Punjab 2014 , I am directed to state that the Competent Authority i.e Chief Minister Punjab has been pleased to approve financial assistance package for families of civil servants who die while in service. It shall be applicable with effect from 22-02-2017. The details of said package are as under:

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund) has issued Notification No. BF-217(Gazetted)/2017 dated 10-08-2017 in connection with Amendment Punjab Govt Servants Benevolent Fund Part-I (Disbursement) Rules 1965. Detail is as under:

In exercise of powers of conferred under section 7 of the Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Ordinance, 1960 (XIV of 1960). the Governor of the Punjab is pleased to directed to direct that in Punjab  Government Servants Benevolent Fund part-II (Disbursement) Rules, 1966, the following further amendments shall be made:

ADMENDMENT

In the Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Part-II (Disbursement) Rules, 1966, in rules, 4:

In clause (b) for the expression, “RS. 6,000/-“, wherever occur, the expression, Rs, 12,000/-~ shall be substituted and

In clause (d) for the expressions, “Rs. 1,300/-” the expression “Rs.1,700/-” the expressions “Rs. 1,950/-” and “Rs. 2,550/-” shall respectively be substituted.

Download Copy of Notification of Paternity Leave & Maternity Leave Punjab Govt Employees

Punjab Govt has already issued the notification No. FD.SR.II.9-107/2012 dated 30th October 2012 in connection with Paternity Leave as well as Maternity Leave for the Provincial Govt Employees.

The male servant now can get a leave of maximum period of 7 days on full pay out side his leave account on or immediately after the birth of his child. Such leave will only be admissible twice in his entire service.


In the same way a female Govt servant may get a leave for maximum period of 90 days with full pay outside his leave account at any time immediately before or after the birth of child and she no need to provide fitness certificate in this regard for joining the duty.

According to this Notification, the undersigned is directed to refer to Finance Division O.M of the dated 10-08-2016 on the above subject and to state that consequent upon the Revision of Basic Pay Scales 2017 for the civil employees of the Federal Government, it has been decided to revise the rates of subscription towards General Provident Fund as shown in column 5 of the table given at the copy of the Notification.

Notification Regarding Enhancement of Judicial And Utility Allowance To Judicial Officials & Officers dated 01.09.2009

ENHANCEMENT OF JUDICIAL & UTILITY ALLOWANCES IN RESPECT OF STAFF OF SUBORDINATE COURTS IN BS-01 TO BS-16

With the Section Officer (Admin), Government of the Punjab Law Department, kindly refer to this letter No. Admin 3-2/2009(CMD)/2678 dated 28.08.2009 on the subject noted above.


2.       Finance Department accords is concurrence to this enhancement of Judicial and Utility Allowance in respect of staff of subordinate courts in BS-01 to BS-16 as per following rates with immediate effect.

Notification of Clarification Annual Increment 2015

NOTIFICATION OF CLARIFICATION ANNUAL INCREMENT 2015


Government of the Punjab Finance Department has issued Notification on 11-02-2017 in connection with Clarification Annual Increment 2015. Detail is as under:

Finance Department observers that Para 5 of this Department circular letter No.FD.PC.2-/2016 dated 22.07.2015 clearly states that the annual increment of the existing employees is  Revised Basis Pay Scales 2015 in which their pay is fixed as on 01.07,2015 shall accrue on the 1 of December, 2015.


The employees who were appointed/promoted/up-graded/regularized between 02.06,2015 to 30.06.2015 do come under the above captioned Para 5 of the said circular letter. Hence, all the employees who got their pay fixed In light of aforesaid circular letter on 01.07.2015, as a special relaxation, shall be entitled for the grant of annual increment on 01.12.2015 only.

Notification of Revised Pay Scale 2017 WAPDA Employees

NOTIFICATION OF REVISED PAY SCALE 2017 WAPDA EMPLOYEES


Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has issued Notification on 14-07-2017 in connection with Notification Revised Pay Scale 2017 WAPDA Employees. Detail is as under:

Pay Scales of the WAPDA Employees have been revied with effect from 1st July 2017 after merging ARA-2010 into new basic pay.

Adhoc Relief Allowance 2010 has been existed as the same has been merged into new basic pay.

An extra Adhoc Relief Allowance 2017 will be granted to all WAPDA employees with effect from 1st July 2017 @ 10% of the new running basic pay of the pay scales 2017.


Amount of orderly allowance has been raised from Rs. 12,000/- per month to Rs. 14,000/- per month wef 01-07-2017.






Notification of Increase In Pension 2017 Punjab Government

NOTIFICATION OF INCREASE IN PENSION 2017 PUNJAB GOVERNMENT


Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.SE-III-4-170/2017 dated 14-07-2017 in connection with Notification Increase Pension 2017 Punjab Government. Detail is as under:

I am directed to state that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to sanction an increase @ 10% of net pension with effect from 01 July, 2017 until further orders to all civil pensioners of Government of Punjab.

The 15% increase in pension as allowed vide Para 1 of this Department`s circular letter No.FD.SR.III-4-108/2010(A) dated 15.07.2010, shall be discontinued for those who would  retire on after 01.07.2017.

However, 15% increase in pension as allowed vide Para 12 (i) of this Department`s Circular letter No.FD.SR.III-2-1/2011,  dated 11.07.2011, 7.5% increase in pension as allowed vide Para 1 of this Department`s  Circular letter No.FD.SR.III-4-259/2015(A) dated 13.07.2015, and 10% increase in pension as allowed vide Para 1 of this Department`s  Circular letter No.FD.SR.III-4-178/2016 dated 29.07.2016,shall be admissible to the new pensioners who would retire on or after 01.07.2017. It is to mention here that Federal Govt has also issued Notification of Pension Increase 2017 on 03-07-2017.
