Government of Balochistan, Finance Department has issued Notification on 11-04-2018 in connection with Grant of M.Phil Allowance M.S Degree Holders @ 5000/- Per Month Balochistan. Detail is as under:

With Reference to this Department`s circulars No. FD(R)III-42/95/1058 1115 dated 28th May, 1995. No. FD(R-I)III-42/2012/3161 -3311 dated 24th September, 2012. No. FD(R-I)III-42/2015/430-550, dated 3rd March, 2015, 2015, letter No.FD (R-I)III-42/2016/1762 dated 4th August. 2016 addressed to the Accountant General Balochistan, and in supersession of circular No. FD(R-I)III-2/2009/846-946 dated 25th May, 2009, the Government of Balochistan has been pleased to allow / extend the M Phil Allowance @ Rs.5,000/- p.m. to M.S. Degree Holders of this Provincial Government, duly recognized / declared as equivalent to M.Phil. degree by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). With immediate effect.

The existing terms and conditions of admissibility of the above Allowance will remain the same as specified in the above referred circulars.

Sir, I am directed to refer to state that Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to grant Special Conveyance Allowance to disable employees of Punjab Government @ Rs. 1,000/- per month in addition to normal Conveyance Allowance, with effect from 1st July, 2016, Following terms and conditions will be applicable for admissibility of this allowance:

a)   It will be allowed to those Punjab Government employees who have been appointed against disable employees' quota, or they have been declared/certified as disable by an authorized Medical Board thereafter during service.

b)   It will not be admissible during leave of any kind, except medical leave upto one month or casual leave.

In continuation to this Department’s letter bearing same number dated 13-11-2014 on the subject Revised Assistance Package Punjab 2014 , I am directed to state that the Competent Authority i.e Chief Minister Punjab has been pleased to approve financial assistance package for families of civil servants who die while in service. It shall be applicable with effect from 22-02-2017. The details of said package are as under:

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund) has issued Notification No. BF-217(Gazetted)/2017 dated 10-08-2017 in connection with Amendment Punjab Govt Servants Benevolent Fund Part-I (Disbursement) Rules 1965. Detail is as under:

In exercise of powers of conferred under section 7 of the Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Ordinance, 1960 (XIV of 1960). the Governor of the Punjab is pleased to directed to direct that in Punjab  Government Servants Benevolent Fund part-II (Disbursement) Rules, 1966, the following further amendments shall be made:

ADMENDMENT

In the Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Part-II (Disbursement) Rules, 1966, in rules, 4:

In clause (b) for the expression, “RS. 6,000/-“, wherever occur, the expression, Rs, 12,000/-~ shall be substituted and

In clause (d) for the expressions, “Rs. 1,300/-” the expression “Rs.1,700/-” the expressions “Rs. 1,950/-” and “Rs. 2,550/-” shall respectively be substituted.

Punjab Govt has already issued the notification No. FD.SR.II.9-107/2012 dated 30th October 2012 in connection with Paternity Leave as well as Maternity Leave for the Provincial Govt Employees.

The male servant now can get a leave of maximum period of 7 days on full pay out side his leave account on or immediately after the birth of his child. Such leave will only be admissible twice in his entire service.

In the same way a female Govt servant may get a leave for maximum period of 90 days with full pay outside his leave account at any time immediately before or after the birth of child and she no need to provide fitness certificate in this regard for joining the duty.
