Notification of Grant of Financial Assistance By Federal Government

 Government of Pakistan Finance Division has issued Notification on 03-07-2017 in connection with Grant of Financial Assistance By Federal Government. Detail is as under:

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Division`s  O.M No.F.2(12)R-9/73-917, dated 20-08-1973, as amended from time to time , on the above subject and say that the following further amendments are made therein with effect from 01-07-2017:-

Cases in which the dead body of the deceased Government Servant in BPS-1 to 15 is buried locally:

The maximum limit for reimbursement of the amount for local burial is raised from Rs 5,000/-

(ii) Changes of Crating (Wooden Box)

The existing maximum rate is raised from Rs 1,600/- to Rs 4,800/-

Notification Declaration Rawalakot & Mirpur (AJK) as Big City

Government of Pakistan Finance Division has issued Notification on 03-07-2017 in connection with Notification Declaration Rawalakot & Mirpur (AJK) as Big City for the Purpose of House Rent Allowance (HRA) @ 45%. Detail is as under:

The undersigned is directed to convey that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has been pleased to approve, vide PM Office Dy No.1596/SPM/17 dated 12-06-2017, the proposal to declare Rawalakot and Mirpur  (AJK) as big cities, for the purpose of House Rent Allowance @ 45% of minimum of the Basis Pay Scale  2008, or at  the rates announced by Federal Government for big cities from time to time, w,e.f. 1-7- 2017 for the Federal Government employees posts within the municipal limits of the said cities.

It is to mention here that Gawadar has also been declared as big city for the purpose of HRA and Daily Allowance.

Government of Pakistan, Finance Division has issued Notification No. F.8(1)R-10/2011-309/III dated 03-07-2017 in connection with Notification Revised Rates Daily Allowance 2017.

According to this Notification, the President has been pleased to sanction revision of Daily Allowances admissible to Government employees while on official duty within the country with effect from 1st July 2017 as under:

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him under article-119 of the Constitution of the Republic of Pakistan, 1973, the Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that in the Punjab Financial Rules, Volume-I, following relaxation will be allowed in Rule 2.16:

“One time dispensation of the Financial Year 216-17 shall be allowed in respect of cheques issued in June 217 to be payable on or before the 7th July 2017.

PROVISION OF DETAILS OF EMPLOYEES WHOSE POSTS HAVE NOT BEEN UP-GRADED

I am directed to the subject noted above and to inform that Chief Secretary, Punjab has been pleased to constitute a Committee under the Chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary for thrashing out and settling all matters regarding the employees whose posts have not been up-graded are approaching for up-gradation of their posts as well.

2.       Finance department has asked to place the demands of employees regarding up-gradation of their posts on the analogy of up-gradation of clerical posts (i.e. Junior Clerk, Senior Clerk, Assistant, Superintendent & Stenographers etc.) in the shape of working paper.

3.       It is therefore, requested to furnish the details / requisite working paper regarding employees whose are approaching for up-gradation of their posts within three days positively for onward submission to Finance Department for placing the same before the Committee.

Notification of Advance Salary Azad Jammu & Kashmir on Eid-ul-Fitr 2017 has been issued on 19-06-2017 by Services & General Administration Department, Azad Government of Jammu & Kashmir.

According to this Notification, Pay & Pension for the month of June 2017 to be issued on 1st July 2017 will now be disbursed on 21-06-2017 instead of 1st July 2017. This is being done due to the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2017.
